Our Story
Soul Keep was created by Breanna, a Nurse, now Jeweller from the Sunshine Coast, Queensland.
Drawing inspiration from her experiences in nursing and the artistry of jewellery design, Breanna established Soul Keep to combine empathy and creativity.
It is through this that Breanna is able to share her artistic passion while still being able to make an impact on peoples lives.
How It Works
If you have recently lost a loved one, Breanna will work closely with you, your funeral home, hospital, or any other service provider to create a meaningful impression keepsake.
In most Soul Keep circumstances, we now work from ink fingerprints, handprints, and footprints already captured by hospitals, funeral homes, or loved ones.
Through a specialised process unique to HALI MOTIF, these prints are transformed into true tactile impressions using our signature lost wax carving method - preserving the organic depth, texture, and feeling our pieces are known for. This simplified process may feel gentler and more suitable for you and your family during a difficult time.
In certain circumstances, or simply by personal preference, we can still provide impression kits if this is better suited to your situation.
Whatever way the impression is created, our goal is to capture as much detail as possible from the fingerprint, handprint, or footprint - as your chosen design can always be made smaller by carefully selecting the most beautiful area of the impression, but it cannot be made larger.
To ensure the original impression remains safe, a mould will be created before making any adjustments. This mould can be used to create additional designs in the future, or replace a piece should it ever be lost.
As time is often of the essence in these situations, we kindly ask that you place your order as soon as possible and provide the details outlined below. This allows us to begin promptly and preserve your loved one’s memory with the utmost care.
Please read below for both methods and what we require from you to create your treasured keepsake.
ALL YOU NEED TO DO
Ink Prints
1. Contact
Contact the business who will be capturing the fingerprint, handprint, or footprint to see if they already provide ink prints as part of their service.
If this is not something they offer, ink pads can be purchased from most office supply or art stores. Prints can then be captured onto a smooth white paper, such as standard printer paper.
The business may be happy to capture the print for you, or you are welcome to do this yourself.
2. Place Order
Order your chosen piece/s and select that you will be emailing an ink print, and also select that this is a soul keep order.
3. Confirmation Email
Breanna will email you with the details on the images she will need to create your treasure.
4. Send Email
Once you receive your ink prints - send images to hello@halimotif.com with the subject line including your order name and order number.
5. Rest
Rest assured knowing that the impression will soon be created into a beautiful keepsake that you can hold onto, forever.
ALL YOU NEED TO DO
Wax & Putty
1. Place Order
Order the impression kit & silicone mould only and select soul keep - memorial impression in the size area.
If you know how many pieces you would like created from the impression - please write this within the order notes.
Otherwise, if you know what design you are wanting you can choose from the whole collection here.
2. Shipping Details
If you would like an impression kit, please write the shipping address as where you would like your impression kit to be sent.
For example, the business that you are coordinating with, or your own personal address.
If you will be emailing an ink print, please just privide the address of where you would like the finished piece/s sent.
3. Billing Address
Write the billing address as where you would like your finished impression piece.
4. Order Notes
Make sure you tick that this is for a ‘Soul Keep Order’
If you will be sending in an ink-print please tick the box.
Include any further information if needed
5. Contact
Email hello@halimotif.com with the subject line as 'Soul Keep - Urgent’ so we are aware of the urgency.
Contact the business who will be receiving the impression kit so they are aware of its arrival.
6. Rest
