Every fingerprint and pet impression carries its own lines, texture and character. HALI MOTIF preserves those natural details in jewellery rather than treating the print as simply a surface decoration.
For Signature Impressions, you capture the print using a wax kit before returning your chosen impression to the studio. For Ink Print Impressions, a suitable existing fingerprint, handprint, footprint or paw print can be recreated as a tactile impression before your jewellery is handcrafted.
Both pathways are designed around the same idea: turning something deeply personal into a piece that can be worn, held close and treasured for years to come.

Both options create tactile impression jewellery. The difference is simply how your original print begins its journey.

Choose your jewellery and receive an impression kit so you can capture the fingerprint or pet impression yourself. Your chosen wax impression is returned to HALI MOTIF and becomes the basis of your handcrafted piece.
existing ink print process
Already have a meaningful fingerprint, handprint, footprint or paw print? Send clear images and measurements of the existing print. HALI MOTIF recreates its unique organic detail as a tactile impression before handcrafting your chosen piece.

Breanna's original six-step process remains simple: choose your piece, receive the kit, capture your impression, return it and allow the studio to transform it into your finished treasure.

Your impression kit is express posted within approximately 1–5 business days.
If the impression is urgently required, contact HALI MOTIF so the studio can assist with priority dispatch.
capture the print
Follow the step-by-step impression instructions and create several impressions so you can choose the detail you love most.
return your chosen impression
Send your kit back to HALI MOTIF once you are happy with your impression.
Australian orders include a prepaid express return satchel with the impression kit.
Breanna begins your treasure
You will receive an email when the studio has started creating your impression jewellery.
Your unique impression is carefully transformed into your chosen piece using HALI MOTIF's traditional process.

Once complete, you will receive a shipping confirmation with postal tracking so you know your treasure is on its way.
INK PRINT IMPRESSIONS
already have the print? start here
Ink Print Impressions allow HALI MOTIF to work from a suitable existing fingerprint, handprint, footprint or paw print without needing a new wax impression.

Choose your preferred piece from the Ink Print Impression Collection and place your order.
photograph the original print
Take one high-resolution or very clear photo of the ink print on a plain white background. Photograph it directly from above, without a ruler and without taking the image at an angle.
send horizontal & vertical measurements
Take two additional overhead photos: one with a ruler placed horizontally across the print and one with the ruler positioned vertically.
These measurement images do not need to be high resolution — they are used to recreate the sizing accurately.
email your images to HALI MOTIF
Email the images to hello@halimotif.com and include your order number in the subject line so the images can be linked to your order.
The current studio lead time is approximately six weeks from when the Ink Print images are received.
HANDCRAFTED INTO JEWELLERY

The beauty of HALI MOTIF impression jewellery is that the organic character of the original print is preserved rather than reduced to a generic symbol.
Choose from pendants, rings, signets, bracelets and bangles in sterling silver or solid gold. Each piece is individually created and carries the texture and individuality of the impression that inspired it.
IMPRESSION SAFETY
your wax impression is preserved for peace of mind
Every wax impression includes a complimentary silicone mould, providing an added layer of protection around something deeply personal.
If a finished piece is ever lost or damaged, the preserved impression can help recreate the jewellery. The same mould can also be used to create additional pieces for family members or another design in the future.

before you begin
Should I choose Wax Impression or Ink Print jewellery?
Choose Signature Wax Impressions when you can take a fresh impression using HALI MOTIF's kit. Choose Ink Print Impressions when you already have a suitable fingerprint, handprint, footprint or paw print that you would like transformed into jewellery.
Can I take an impression of a baby?
Yes. HALI MOTIF creates impression jewellery from babies, children and adults. Younger fingerprints can have softer detail, but they can still create a meaningful record of that stage of life.
Can I take an impression of my pet?
Yes. Paw prints create beautiful impression jewellery, and suitable pet details may also include noses, claws, scales or feathers depending on the impression being captured.
What if I need an impression urgently?
Contact HALI MOTIF as soon as possible. For sensitive or time-critical memorial circumstances, Soul Keep provides additional guidance and coordination.
How long does Ink Print jewellery take?
The current Ink Print studio lead time is approximately six weeks from when HALI MOTIF receives the required images. Studio lead times can change, so check the current lead-time page when ordering.
Can one impression be used again later?
Wax impressions include a silicone mould that can be used to help recreate the original jewellery or create additional pieces in the future.
