Hali Motif was founded by Breanna, an independent jewellery designer-maker based in a studio on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, Queensland. Breanna's star sign, 'Water,' and her residence in a coastal community inspired the name Hali, meaning 'Sea,' and Motif, meaning 'Design.' Her journey into jewellery making began at one of her sister's baby showers, where she crafted jewellery from wire and beads. This experience sparked her curiosity, leading her to delve into jewellery research, attend a silversmithing course, and eventually establish her own studio.
Breanna is dedicated to sustainability, collaborating closely with Australian businesses, sourcing recycled metals, using biodegradable packaging, and employing environmentally friendly practices. Through these efforts, she shares her passion without harming the environment, which serves as her ultimate inspiration.
At Hali Motif, Breanna meticulously carves wax and shapes metals to create her designs. Her creations draw inspiration from the natural universe, reflecting her interpretation of how these elements can impact us physically and emotionally. Each piece crafted by Breanna is individually cast and hand-polished, ensuring its unique beauty; no two pieces are alike. To guarantee longevity, Breanna uses solid gold and sterling silver for her designs.
Ultimately, at Hali Motif, Breanna strives to achieve the perfect balance between value and quality while prioritising environmental responsibility, ensuring that her unique jewellery not only captivates with its beauty but also contributes positively to the world.
